The lone jihadi survivor later died of his wounds, or so the Syrians claim, so we
’ll never know how they managed to infiltrate one of the most heavily protected areas of the capital. Did they find a weak point in Syrian security, as Time suggested? Or was this an inside job, as one of ABC’s analysts seems to think?
